Howdy. Yer ace reporter and man on the street, Jamie Riehle here, mo-bloggin' from the DNC and all around Boston. I'll be hitting the convention in the name of Tripod & Lycos, trying to score some juicy tidbits of info & news, armed solely with my cam-phone, digital cam and a paper notepad (in case all of my batteries die).

My goal is to chat with the people working and attending the DNC and try to get behind the curtains, so to speak. I'll leave the heavy duty political coverage up to those better prepared for that kind of thing. This will be a pretty a-political blog. I'm interested in the people (and parties, of course) in and around the convention. If the Repubs give me my press credentials, I'll go cover their con in NYC, too.

So, send some comments, questions, suggestions. I'm open to it all.
